In Dreieichenhain (located between Frankfurt and Darmstadt) one of the last historical cities in the Rhein-Main-Region the Hayner Burgfest is celebrated every year on the 2nd weekend in September. The ruins of the castle and the old city centre built the perfect ambiance for this famous mediaeval event.
Focus
This year the visitor of the Hayner Burgfest is invited to a fantastic journey to ‚Annwn’. This mystical land originates from the celtic mythology and describes the world you enter in your afterlife.

How to reach Dreieichenhain
Dreieichenhain is located in the triangel of Frankfurt/Main, Darmstadt and Offenbach/Main. There is a direct connection to the Motorways A3 (Cologne-Munich), A5 (Basel-Hamburg) and A661 (Egelsbach- Oberursel). Please notice that there is no parking area near the ruin of castle and that parking in the historical city centre is only allowed for residents. With public transport you can reach Dreieichenhain with the S3 or S4 to ‚Dreieich-Buchschlag’ and change to the ‚Dreieichbahn’ (regional train 61) to Dreieichenhain Bahmhof, or you take the bus OF-64 to ‚Dreieichenhain Rathaus’.
